I will procure from shadows what the light keeps distant. Though many have judged, ordered, and obfuscated my direction, none shall divert my attention from the task at hand. I have the wind at my sails, and a firm grasp of the helm. Each doubt and disturbance thrown my way serves only as a reminder that only I can see my path, that only I can sail this ship, through whatever may come. Though some see only what is lost to the fire that burns in me, know that the same fire gives me warmth, strength, and every kindling you place at my feet grants me another moment's respite from the cold world that begs to draw itself around me.
So I hold fast to nothing, and everything. So I watch dreams played out on the surface of the sea. So I breathe in the clean air, take another sure step forward. Good morning, let's see what today has in store for me.
