Denouement

Carve me a disaster
In the flesh
And I'll leave you disoriented
At the steps
Leading to your lighthouse
I'm here at the cliffs
I'll crash into your jagged rocks
Take the lashes of your whip
I'll wake here, come morning
With your taste on my lips
Welcome me to death
Welcome me to the abyss
I'll haunt your last breath
Taunt you with a kiss
Carve me a masterpiece
I'll draw you into this sketch
A last view of sanity
Before the mad grasp at death
Know that this fever dream
Will burn bright and fast
I'll dress in chains
For an evening arranged
And come night
Revel in my absent-mindedness
I'll tell you my name
If you dare to speak it aloud
Show you my flames
If you let fall your shrouds
Carve me a disaster
In the flesh
And I'll leave you unclean
Screaming, and sated.
