I do not need an army
To go to war
To stand victorious against yours
I do not need a stacked deck
To call your bluff
To send you home penniless
I do not need a stone
To throw at you
To knock you from your perch
It is your naivete
That blinds you to my strength
That you would call me to arms
Knowing you cannot win
It is your willful ignorance
That stacks the odds against you
That you would bet everything
On your own empty hands
It is your ill-conceived arrogance
That leaves you open to the wind
That you would stand atop my shoulders
To try and keep me from flying
I do not need anything
Just me, and you'll see
That even your worst nightmare
Could never topple my dreams.
