Declaration

They march in formation
Bulletproof in all black
White letter pigs, digging in
For the winter, I stand before
An army playing civilians
The state of retribution
I am the revolution
The change from consumed
To consumer, the return from
Product to proletariat
I am the people, I
Raise my arms high
Their guns will never match
My will, I am Tiananmen Square
I am L.A. circa 1982
Standing up to
The agents of oppression
The quelling of dissent
This is the end of your unilateral assault
On free thinking, I have my weapons
Yours are useless, for every bullet you expend
I've a thousand of your lies unraveled
Feel free, martyr me, murder me
You can't extinguish
The fire that burns in me
They march in formation
I stand firm
They fire their tear gas
Mace, rubber bullets and fire hoses
I won't move
I state my intentions against
The state's intentions
This is reinvention, the transition from
Dictation to democracy
Wage your wars, stage your coups
This is my country, I am
The truth, that you can only control us
When the majority is silent
When the majority is defused
I've come to inform
The majority is angry, restless
And they're coming after you.
